19 Yr Old Pleads Not Guilty To Causing Death
In today’s [Nov 3] Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments, Calin Maybury pleaded not guilty to causing the death of Mr Melvin Smith by careless driving on 2nd August on Kindley Field Road; and causing grievous bodily harm by careless, in the same incident, to another person.
No trial date was set, however the 19 year old defendant must return for December Arraignments, and he remains on bail.
Both charges stem from the collision in the early hours of 2nd August 2014 on Kindley Field Road in St George’s, which resulted in the death of a man camping along the stretch of road.
