Video: Wells Scores Against Nottingham Forest

November 1, 2014

[Updated with video] Huddersfield Town are presently taking on Nottingham Forest at the John Smith’s Stadium today [Nov 1] with Nahki Wells scoring in the 20th minute to put his team up 2-0.

Today’s match marks the 150th appearance in English League football by the 24-year-old Bermudian striker, who transferred from Bradford City earlier this year, with Huddersfield Town paying over $2 million for him, setting both a club and Bermuda record.

A win or draw today would mark Huddersfield Town’s longest unbeaten run since they returned to the Championship in 2012 – seven games. The match is still underway, and we will update as able.

Update 12.53pm: It’s now half-time, and Huddersfield hold a 2-0 lead.

Update 1.49pm: It’s the 88th minute of play, and Huddersfield have all but guaranteed themselves a victory as they hold a 3-0 lead, with Wells having been taken off — to a standing ovation — in the 81st minute.

Update 2.06pm: The game has ended, with Huddersfield recording a 3-0 win, and extending their unbeaten streak to 7 games.
