U.S. Virtual College Fair On November 19th

The U.S. Consulate General announced an all-day online EducationUSA Virtual College Fair on November 19, 2014. Open to anyone who has an Internet connection, the fair will be available in an interactive Internet environment, offering potential students access to more than 150 U.S. institutions of higher learning, along with informational webcasts.

Via live chat, students from overseas will be able to ask questions of hundreds of universities, get advice from study abroad experts, and hear about other students’ experiences. There will also be live presentations by EducationUSA, College Board, and other education experts about choosing a school, staying safe on campus, and more.

Among the many subjects the fair will cover are the following:

  • Discover U.S. Higher Education (6AM AST)
  • Graduate Admissions and Funding (8AM AST)
  • Undergraduate Admissions and Funding (9AM AST)
  • International Students Share Their Experiences (10AM AST)
  • The U.S. Student Visa Process (11AM AST)
  • More Opportunities for Success with the GRE (Noon AST)
  • How to Find a LGBT-Friendly Campus (2PM AST)
  • Choosing the Right University for You (3PM AST)
