Bermuda Goodwill Golf Tournament Kicks Off
The 2014 Bermuda Goodwill Golf Tournament started yesterday [Dec 8] around the island with 62 teams participating from Bermuda, USA, Canada and Europe.
The Bermuda Goodwill Pro-Am Golf Tournament is the longest running Pro-Am golf tournament in Bermuda’s history, bringing teams from all around the world, predominantly from the US, Canada, the UK and Europe, to Bermuda since 1953.
Junior Division Team Net
- Riversides CC started their tournament with an impressive -19 under par [51] at the Riddell’s Bay Golf Club.
- Second place is Hidden Valley Golf Club with -13 under par [57] at the Riddell’s Bay Golf Club.
Junior Pro Division
- Terry Hatch Leads the way after round 1 with 23 points at the Riddells Bay Golf Club.
- Second place is James Ondo with 20 points at the Mid Ocean Club.
Sr. Team Net
- Lampton Golf CC “A” leads the way after round 1 with a -13 [57] at Riddell’s Bay Golf Club.
- Old Head Golf Links are right behind with a -13 [58] from Port Royal Golf Club.
- Bellewood Golf Club are in third with -12 [59] at the Mid Ocean Club.
Sr. Pro Division
- Ted Griffin managed Port Royal Golf Club with a fine 20 points and leads the SR. Pro Division after round 1.
- David St. Louis started at MOC and fired a fine 18 points with Local Dawyne Pearman finishing with 18 points at MOC to tie for second place.
Ladies Team Net
- Weston GC started with a -10 [60] at the Tuckers Point Club
- In second place is Riddell’s Bay Golf Club with -7 [63] and St. Georges Golf Club -7 [63]
Ladies Pro Division
- Karen Nicoletti leads her division with 18 points from Tuckers Point
- Jen Jaszek is in second place with 13 points from Tuckers Point.
