KBB Launch “50 For 50″ Fundraising Campaign

December 19, 2014

As Keep Bermuda Beautiful [KBB] reaches the milestone of their 50th year, they are launching an appeal through social media with the aim of increasing awareness.

A spokesperson said, “Keep Bermuda Beautiful has been ‘talking trash’ for 50 years. Generations have grown up with KBB cleanups, and as a result, respect our Island home and do not litter. But KBB’s work is not done.

“They need to reach those who are still unaware of the negative impacts of littering and illegal dumping. To do that KBB is asking everyone who cares about Bermuda to show support by giving a gift of $50.

“As KBB reaches the milestone of its 50th year, they are launching an appeal through social media to everyone who loves and respects our Island’s unique beauty.

“KBB has already sent letters out to a few special friends. And now KBB is turning to everyone on social media, specifically Facebook and Twitter to become a KBB friend or follower.

“Let’s #LoveWhereYouLive and #WipeOutDumping by supporting KBB’s ‘50 for 50’ fundraising campaign. You can make your gift through www.BdaTix.bm on the KBB Donation page. Read more about why you should support KBB here.”
