Aspen Appoints Martin Brauner As Senior VP
Aspen U.S. Insurance, part of the insurance segment of Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited, announced that Martin Brauner has joined as Senior Vice President and Product Line Leader, Excess Auto Liability.
Reporting to Roxanne Mitchell, Executive Vice President and Chief Casualty Officer, Martin will lead Excess Auto Liability, one of the five product lines within the U.S. Casualty structure: the other four being Real Estate including Hospitality; Construction; Products Liability; and Excess Casualty.
Roxanne Mitchell commented, “Martin’s considerable knowledge of the U.S. automobile liability market and his success in managing a profitable operation will be invaluable to the growth strategy of the U.S. Casualty team. I am excited to welcome Martin to Aspen as we expand our Casualty market presence with a new excess automobile liability facility.”
Mr Brauner joins Aspen U.S. Insurance with twenty years of experience in management, product development, underwriting, and marketing for commercial automobile liability and transportation risks.
Prior to joining Aspen, he was responsible for a commercial automobile underwriting team across fourteen U.S. states with multiple underwriting offices for Lexington Insurance Company. He previously held positions at Big Moose Holdings and United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company.
Mr Brauner holds a B.S. in applied physical sciences from Kansas State University and has completed post-graduate studies in statistics.
