The Pembroke Parish Council hosted “The Great Debate” recently at the Victor Scott Auditorium with students from Northlands Primary, Dellwood Middle School, Victor Scoot Primary and West Pembroke Primary all taking part.

Some of the topics the young debaters tackled included should children be allowed to bring electronics to school, whether homework should be banned, whether wearing school uniforms should be mandatory, and the possibility of knocking down Dellwood to create a road to ease traffic into Hamilton.
