PALS Walk To Support Cancer Care In Bermuda

The 27th Annual P.A.L.S. Walk will be held Sunday, March 1 to support cancer care in Bermuda.

This is the organization’s key annual fundraiser, with all contributed funds donated to medical care, equipment and supplies for cancer patients who are in need of support. Walk pledges enable five P.A.L.S. nurses to make thousands of home visits annually at no charge, as well as provide a large array of medical equipment.

Friday is the last day to register. The registration fee is $25 [$15 for participants age 15 and younger]. Walkers must be registered prior to the day of the event and may submit the registration form and fee as follows:

The walk route is a total of 15 miles from Dockyard to Albuoy’s Point. Participants may register as individuals or teams. A free ferry to Dockyard will leave Hamilton Ferry Terminal at 7am. The walk will begin at 7:30am. A Certificate of Participation will be presented at Albuoy’s Point.

The walk will proceed through inclement weather, with the exception of high seas. If necessary, the high seas date is Sunday, March 8.
