Photo Set #2: Weekend BNAA Track & Field Meet
Four more athletes reached the Qualifying Standard for the 2015 Carifta Games during the second day of the Bermuda National Athletics Association Track Meet at the National Sports Center this past weekend.
Three athletes qualified in the same race, during the Under 18 Boy’s 800m race Michiah Robinson, David Darrell and Aaron Jacobs all met the standard.
Robinson won the race clocking 2.00.35, Darrell finished second with a time of 2.01.41 and Jacobs finished third with a time of 2.02.07. The other athlete to qualify was Azaire Smith as she leaped 1.55m during the Under 18 Girls High Jump.

Three athletes also did very well, however came up just short of the Standard. Ethan Philip leaped 6.64m during the Under 20 Boys Long Jump with the Qualifying Standard being 6.80m, Elisha Darrell leaped 1.85m during the Under 18 Boys High Jump missing out on the Carifta qualifying standard of 1.90m and Tahje Taylor clocked 22.87 during the Under 18 Boys 200 Meter Dash with the standard set at 22.52.
