Its called trust us. Because we contradict ourselves and make no apology for lying.

    • Smh says:

It’s called not being afraid to spend a bit of your own money on food! Shocking for a government official isn’t it?!!!

    • Future Alliance says:

      Dear Bermuda First,

Give it a break, clearly you do not travel much further than Town to go buy your cookies from the bakery.

He clearly would have had breakfast at the hotel and probably only had to buy one evening dinner as everything else would have been provided to attendees………I’m convinced some of you bloggers do not travel for business or leisure

      • Tolerate says:

lol, love the “you do not travel much further than Town to go buy your cookies from the bakery.”
But ya right; I love when these travel reports come out because basically “ya damned if you do or damned if you don’t”. Had he spent twice the amount, the armchair Travel Agents would moan about that.
They should ALWAYS bring these reports out on Friday so we can get a good laugh at the negative bloggers.
Makes me scared to go out in public with these people walking among us.

        SMDH

    • serengetiperson says:

So…you’re pissed because he didn’t spend a greater amount?

    • Mockingjay says:

I think all Politicians and anyone going on Govt. Business should pay half, they make enough $$$ being a politicians and business men (some are questionable because you dont hear from them) and thats their side hustle as most of them are business men and women so they’re not as desperate as us WORKING folk.

Years ago there was no BERNEWS.
Years ago the PLP did not troll the net.
Years ago they did not supply info like this unless asked and it was shoved to page 15 of the RG or Bda Sun.

    That’s freeking why.
All we saw was Eawart and Paula all dressed nice and off here and there.

    I give the hell up.

  3. Just a matter of time says:

Most of these conferences provide meals and transportation so the per diem tends not to be that great. This should always be borne in mind and add perspective.

  4. Bermudian. says:

This is laughable, why bother, if your going make up Crap,he had to stay in the Dogs Box for that kind of $$$.

    • Strike fund says:

      $180 per night.

The only place where dogs boxes are that expensive is Bermuda.
