BPW To Host International Women’s Day Brunch
On Sunday, March 8th the Business and Professional Women’s Association of Bermuda [BPW Bermuda] will celebrate International Women’s Day with a brunch where theyt will welcome guest speakers, Julia Pitt and Catherine Burns, who will discuss how “having it all”, can affect a woman’s health.
BPW President, Katie Partington Howarth said, “Each year, our organisation celebrates International Women’s Day and the strides that women have made and make the world over.”
Ms. Partington Howarth noted that recent discussions within the club’s membership raised the issue of whether “having it all is truly worth it.”
The Executive Committee of BPW Bermuda wanted to broaden this particular conversation and figured that hosting an event of this nature on this particular date will be very fitting.
Ms. Partington Howarth said that at the brunch “we will engage in thought provoking discussion which will cause attendees to consider what impact ‘having it all’ has in their own lives.”
BPW Bermuda anticipates that this event will sell out so interested attendees should register early as space is limited for this event to 40 people. The deadline for payment is 6 March 2015.
