Lambe & Mansfield Town Go Down To Carlisle
Reggie Lambe and his Mansfield Town team went down 2 – 1 when they faced Carlisle United over the weekend at Carlisle’s Brunton Park.
The Bermudian footballer who recently had his contract with the club extended, was in the starting line up and saw action throughout the match.
The team’s game report says, “Reggie Lambe picked up possession wide out on the right flank and delivered a teasing cross towards the back-post, where Vadaine Oliver got up high, but couldn’t direct his header goalwards under pressure.
“During six minutes of added time, the Stags pressed Carlisle back and Lambe tried his luck with a curling 20-yard attempt, but that too was saved by Gillespie.”
