Soul Food To Celebrate World Table Tennis Day
Soul Food Promotions is getting set to host its World Table Tennis Day celebration event on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 12.00pm through 2.00pm on the City Hall steps and front lawn.
The event will feature a DJ, ping pong games, and an opportunity to play a few fun matches with local personalities, with a theme of ‘Table Tennis for All.’
Lynwood ‘Brotha Richie’ Richardson of Soul Food Promotions said, “As the owner of Soul Food Promotions, radio personality on HOTT 1075, and being introduced to the sport through SMASH Table Tennis Rec Center, I have been personally impacted by the sport, and love learning and playing more and more.
“This is my way of helping to promote table tennis in Bermuda.
“The theme is ‘Table Tennis For All’, and on the sixth of April, Soul Food Promotions invites the public to come out to celebrate the joy to play table tennis for fun, bring people together, and hopefully encourage new players of the sport.
“I will be reaching out to Government and sports officials, some of whom have actually been to SMASH and have played the game over the years. There will be a DJ, fun ping pong games, and an opportunity to play a few fun matches with local personalities.
