Photo Set #2: Kitefest At Horseshoe Bay Beach

Crowds of people made their way to Horseshoe Bay Beach on Good Friday [Apr 3] for the annual Kitefest celebration hosted by Chewstick.

The day involved various activities including an Easter Egg hunt, races, live entertainment, a fishcake competition, as well as kite making competition with categories ranging from Best Boxy, Biggest Kite, Smallest Kite, Best Traditional Kite, and Ugliest Kite.

Kitefest was one of many events held island-wide to celebrate Good Friday, with events also held at venues including St David’s Cricket Club, PHC Field, Victor Scott Field, Garrison Field, Dandy Town, Somerset Cricket Club, Devil’s Hole, Bailey’s Bay, Southampton Rangers and more.
