  1. Kangoocar says:

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed how far our social fabric has deteriorated since 1998??? In one night we have two scum bags that actually are involved in hitting and running from another road user leaving her to die, and now this??? Unless something changes real soon, the future of BDA is not good!!!!

    • Varied says:

I suspect your not-so-subtle dig at the change in government in 1998 won’t generate many positive responses when it comes to another violent act against a young person in Bermuda.

Not everything here needs to be about political parties.

Hopefully the authorities will nail the person who committed this offense. Grateful that the young person wasn’t more seriously injured, a knife attack to the neck could have easily been much worse.

    • Strike fund says:

      Give it a rest!

    • impressive. says:

Yes Kangocar, people in general are less loving, caring, respectful, compassionate etc as they once were, that is true, but for you to suggest that it is because of political policies is insane.. I think you have taken your bias a little too far, lol. However, yes to the orginal point, “we” as a people have lost alot of the love and respect or at least common courtesy we had for one another, its evident in the manner in which people conduct themselves on the roads.

    • real says:

u dont go outside. even screech is in jail for protecting his wife.. dont compare a hit and run to an altercation. slim logic. no wonder 75 ppl dont agree with u

    • Jus' Askin' says:

Are you referring to the change to our education system? ;-)

    • Truth Teller says:

Why the racist Bermuda tea bag invocation of “1998″ Kangoocar?
The real question is why are these behaviors and outcomes ring fenced around Bermuda’s black community in a country where approximately 40% of the residents are white?

But something tells me that you do not wish to have that conversation. Gay marriage yes; but that issue? I don’t think so.

      Prove me wrong.

  2. Triangle Drifter says:

Gotta love how BPS terminology tries to be so politically correct & watered down.

A”BLADED ARTICLE”. Now I wonder what that might be? Could it be…. um….ah….a knife???

What is with the code terms?

    • Don't be so ignorant says:

It could be a knife, a razor, a machete…A BLADED ARTICLE. They obviously don’t know what the “bladed article” was dumbo.

  3. Hurricane says:

    Talk about scum bags??????

  4. Confused says:

Really confused as to why everything becomes political! Regardless, of what political party one supports, these acts of violence and general lawlessness, affects us all!

Time to come together and take back our Island, before it is not fit for any of us!!!

  5. Legal Eagle says:

I dont support of either political party! But no doubt the current conduct of our politians has influenced the increasing lack of courtesy + respect in our general Bdn population! Most unfortunate, given Bermudian’s reputation for civility +frendlyness-that can’t last if this keeps up!!
