Cruise Passenger Transferred For Medical Care

A passenger traveling on the visiting Crystal Serenity cruise ship anchored in the Great Sound, was transferred off the ship early this morning [May 8] requiring urgent medical care.

A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “On Friday 8th May 2.15am, Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre receives information that a passenger on board the Crystal Serenity required urgent medical care at KEMH.

“As the vessel was at Anchor in Great Sound, a ships tender was used to transfer the patient to a waiting ambulance at Albuoy’s Point for prompt transfer to KEMH.”
