Mobile Zip Line Enjoyed Over Bermuda Day

May 27, 2015

The island’s newly launched mobile zip line made an appearance during the weekend’s Bermuda Day celebrations, with revelers traversing Front Street able to take in the sight of people riding along a cable from a tower 34 feet in the air.

The ride was launched in April 2015 by partners Antwan Albuoy and Shena Virgil of Twilight Entertainment and features a spiral staircase leading to the tower, which allows two riders between the weight of 45 to 250 lbs to ride at the same time on two lines.

Twilight Entertainment is known for renting out fun castles for various events, but said that they wanted to import a mobile zip line “for the most adventurous” among us. Available for rent, the zip line is a completely self-contained trailer unit that can be delivered and then set up in an hour or less.
