Police: 26-Year-Old Man Discharged From KEMH
The 26 year old man injured in yesterday’s [May 5] incident in the Marsh Folly Road area was treated at the hospital and discharged, with the police saying that “details regarding this incident remain somewhat vague.”
Yesterday the police said that “it appears that four males brandishing a bladed article and a piece of wood attacked a male employee of Works and Engineering who was working on location” and the “male victim defended himself resulting in one of the four attackers” being injured.
In a statement today, a police spokesperson said, “The 26 year old male that appeared to have sustained serious head injuries during an incident that took place in the Marsh Folly Road, Palmetto Road Pembroke area around 2:30pm Tuesday, May 5th was treated at the hospital and has since been discharged.
“Details regarding this incident remain somewhat vague and detectives continue their appeal for any witnesses to contact the Criminal Investigations Department on the main police telephone number 295-0011.
“Alternatively, persons with information can also call the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”
