Hamilton Celebrates Anniversary With Flowers
2015 marks the 200th anniversary of the City of Hamilton being Bermuda’s capital, and the city is marking the occasion with with the celebration of ‘City in Bloom,’ which has seen the city beautified with flower beds and planters in various locations.
This week, Cedar Avenue received more flower planters thanks to the generosity of a sponsor, and City parks are in full bloom with vibrant colours of orange and yellow.
In addition, City Hall has on display a photographic historic account of Hamilton’s 200 years, with the public invited to visit the City Hall foyer during any weekday to see the photo montage.
