BMRC To Hold “Ride & Swim” On June 28th

June 26, 2015

This Sunday, June 28th, the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club [BMRC] will be holding its second race day of the 2015 season.

This race day will be themed “Ride and Swim” and the BMRC will host a barbecue at Clearwater Beach for fans, participants, and the general public after the races. Gates open at 9am for participants and racing starts at 1pm. General admission is free, and Pit Passes are available for $10.

The club said, “All the early championship leaders will be hoping to build a gap to their nearest competitors this weekend. In the Mini Youth class, Daniel Chadwick will go head to head with Sheun Simmons to defend a narrow five point advantage. Bruce Degrilla Jr. will seek to maintain his form in the Mini Adult class ahead of a competitive Jevaughn “Squirrel” Simons.

“Justin Tucker and CJ Richardson, both in their rookie year, will continue to battle for the top spot in Mini GP. And Devon “Red” Bailey will surely be gunning for Ricky Wade after gifting Wade a 75 point advantage in the Scooter 70 Class due to Bailey’s three DNFs at the last race day.

“After the racing is complete on Sunday, the BMRC will be hosting a barbecue at Clearwater Beach, starting at approximately 4pm. This will be a great opportunity to cool off with your favorite racers after a day of intense racing action. Bring your swimsuit, beach gear, and anything you wish to throw on the grill. Light refreshments, drinks, and music will be available.”
