Minister Meets With PAHO-WHO Representative
Today [June 29] the Minister of Health, Seniors and Environment Jeanne Atherden met with PAHO-WHO [Pan American Health Organization –World Health Organization] representative Dr. Noreen Jack at Ministry headquarters.
Dr. Jack is visiting Bermuda to consult with the Ministry on the Biennial Work Plan, a short term strategic plan for health system improvements and strengthening and to identify ways in which PAHO-WHO can provide assistance. This assistance may be technical expertise, advisory services or financial assistance.
Dr. Jack is visiting until July 1 and will provide specific support in the areas the Ministry identifies for assistance.
