I’ll give you a job…..find me some work….when I get paid you get paid….you see…days how it works…our taxes do this….odd thing that…our taxes are less cumulatively annually…so pertinance is rendered to the higher tax payer…business…but they all charge us to pay duties like 100%-150% on import….then we must vote for them cumulatively as constituant…paying exhobitan healthcare and medicine and food….represent us and control business…also control your duties…They are horrendous!

    • Um Um Like says:

Your grammar is horrendous! What exactly were you attempting to state?

    • Terry says:

  3. Godson says:

So, according to this report….less people are working, but those people are getting paid more? Are the rich getting richer? Again, according to this report…

  4. Oh,I see now says:

Sorry I have to go with the panel on this one mumbojumbo,by the way your name does you no justice on this one.

  5. Time Shall Tell says:

So 3,924 less people are employed compared to 2011 with those that are still employed working 2.5 hours on average less per week (with an average 33 hour work week). Yet are on average these individuals are making $4,537 more per annum, interesting. Even more so is the fact on average women are working 30.5 hours per week yet are earning an average gross per annum $65,213 for the average hourly wage of $41.12… All that to say…. Where can I find these kinds of jobs.. LOL..

  6. Future says:

Am I the only one who noticed the median income of women is much higher than men’s and this only occurred in 2014, possibly for the first time in Bermuda’s history?

  7. Girl on Fire says:

Connect the dots! The most popular job for Bermudian males is heavy truck driver, followed by security guard. The most popular job for Bermudian females is executive secretary, followed by cashier. Thus, executive PA’s make more than truck drivers since women are out-earning men. They also work less hours.

    It’s just math.

  8. Hugh Sedsow says:

Note the difference between Mean(average) and Median!

Median denotes the middle in a series ordered by magnitude.
    i.e. $12, $34, $40, $45, $46, $1904, $23450

    The median is $45.

This IS NOT THE SAME AS AVERAGE.

The average in this case would be $3,647.

  9. Time Shall Tell says:

A survey by one local media group conducted on December 28, 2012 claimed women earned disproportionately less then men on the island. On April 30, 2014 another media group also conducted a survey who too repeated the same findings as the 2011 findings. June 3, 2014 Brian Duperrault too reflected the exact same findings as the two above mentioned surveys. However the information gathered over that exact same time period by these listed statistics seems to find different results, so who do you believe? You have 3 independent groups coming to the same conclusion then this featured article contradicting the other three findings……..
