July 27, 2015

Bermuda had three competitors on the track at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, with Aaron Evans competing in the Men’s 800m final, Tre Houston taking part in the 200m sprint and Lamont Marshall competing in the 1500m.

Evans finished 6th crossing the line in a time of 1:49.07, while Houston ran a 21.00 in heat 2 of the 200m to finish fourth.

Houston’s time saw him miss advancing to the semi-finals, and following his race Houston said, “l am a little disappointed about not advancing, with this being my first race since coming back from injury…. 21.00 I will take that, but I know I can do a lot better. This I believe will set me up for the World Championships in China.”

Lamont Marshall was Bermuda’s final competitor in track and field at the Pan American Games in Toronto, placing 15th in a time of 4:00:38.
