Man Arrested In Connection With Armed Robbery
A 33 year old Warwick man has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery that took place on Monday morning [July 13], which involved two suspects on a motorcycle brandish a gun and machete at a man.
The suspects stole the victim’s motorcycle along with a large quantity of cash from a local business; with the motorcycle being recovered a short time later by police who seized it for forensic examination.
“A 33 year old Warwick man has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery that took place at 7:18am on Monday at The Esso Gas Station on Middle Road in Warwick,” Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said.
“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance thus far and we still appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist with any information no matter how insignificant it may seem to you.

We all must first remember, “arrest doesn’t mean guilty” I pray he/she are and convicted then sentenced to the maximum term in prison under our Laws…With no time off for so call, “good behavior.”
Any crime/s committed with the use of weapons e.g. guns, knives sticks etc. (well, you catch my drift right?)the guilty must be sent to prison receiving no “breaks”

This is scary.. for all riders. I am a young female and don’t feel safe riding my bike on MY 21sq mile island. It’s sad.. Anytime I see a guy on a bike with a dark visor my heart jumps and I panic till they over take me.
SOMETHING needs to be done about this.

If proven guilty they need to be paraded down front street and horse whipped for every dollar not recovered!
Do our police really know how to catch a criminal? There must be a listing maintained by TCD of every bike make/color etc. just pull that list and start hunting down bike owners. Then use the CSI type tools to measure the approx. height and weight of the culprits- sheesh you have pictures of them is it really that difficult?
