Photo Set #2: East End Cup Match Extravaganza

The Cup Match themed event – St George’s Cup Match Extravaganza – was held last night [July 17] at King’s Square in St. George’s, kicking off with a welcome from Town Mayor, Quinell Francis and featuring MCs Velma Anderson and Dean Foggo.

The event included a fashion show featuring a variety of outfits available from the town’s different clothing stores. The event, sponsored by Butterfield Bank and the Corporation of St. George, also included food vendors offering hot food, snow balls, freshly baked goods and refreshments.

There were fun castles for the children, a toy vendor, Cup Match branded attire, TROIKA were on hand fundraising with Cup Match themed pins, and more.

Entertainment included performances by the St. George’s Dancerettes and the Bermuda Carnival Revelers, with Senator Renee Ming giving closing remarks and encouraging words for the upcoming Cup Match Classic. More photos from the event can be seen by clicking here.
