Bermuda Swimmers Excel At Canadian Meet

August 5, 2015

The 2015 Canadian Age Group Championships recently came to an end in Quebec City, with swimmers Brett Smith, Emma Harvey, Madelyn Moore, and Jesse Washington all taking part.

Coach Richard Goodwin summarized the meet by saying, “The team of four swimmers managed 12 finals from 22 entries, nine Age Group records, and three Bermuda records, along with three medals – one gold and two bronze.

“Coming to the Canadian Age Group Championships is always an excellent and exciting experience. Our swimmers are constantly challenged by the best swimmers in Canada in every event that they swim.

“It is noteworthy that they invariably rise to the occasion and produce great swims of their own. This particular edition has seen us come away with the best results ever.

“The swimmers have worked hard all season and the results that they have achieved here are a testament to their efforts.”
