2015 CD&P Squash Tournament To Kick Off
A new squash event starts this week at the BSRA with the inaugural Conyers Dill & Pearman Squash Tournament 2015 taking place August 6-8th.
Over 50 competitors will take part in 3 divisions over the 3 days of competition including junior players as young as 12 up to more experienced players in their 60s. The top of the A Division see’s the continued rivalry of the islands top coaches Patrick Foster [BSRA] and Kristen Johnson [CourtHouse].
They are seeded to meet in a repeat of the Bermuda National Championships final of earlier this year when Foster came out on top. Since that match Johnson recorded the most recent victory between the two in an interclub match setting up and interesting matchup in this new event.
BSRA Director of Squash said “Its fantastic to have Conyers Dill & Pearman step up to sponsor a brand new event at a typically quiet time of year for squash. We are excited to see full draws, some great players included and such a large number of players wanting to be involved. We’re looking forward to a great weekend of squash”
