Tyrone Smith Advances To Finals In China
With a leap of 8.03m, Bermuda’s Tyrone Smith has advanced to the finals of the 2015 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing, China.
Smith — a two-time Olympian who has already qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics — leaped 7.72m on his first attempt, 8.01m on his second attempt and then 8.03m on his third attempt to advance to the finals.
The IAAF World Championships features 1931 athletes [1042 men and 889 women] from 207 nations competing.
