Court: Joshua Usher Cleared Of Edness Murder
The court has ruled that Joshua Usher — who had been charged with the murder of Prince Edness — has no case to answer to and and directed the jury to find him not guilty of all charges.
Mr. Usher was represented by lawyers Charles Richardson and Craig Attridge, who were assisted by Eron Hill. The defense team expressed that they were pleased at the Court’s ruling and subsequent not guilty verdicts of the jury.
Mr Edness was shot dead on December 7th 2014 in an incident which also saw the suspect[s] fire at a police officer who was chasing them.
Mr Usher was charged with his murder late last year, and had denied the charges. Following today’s ruling, the 22-year-old hugged his family members and left the court room smiling.
