Meritus “Independent Trust Company Of Year”
Meritus Trust Company Limited has been awarded the “Independent Trust Company of the Year” accolade for the 2015/2016 Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners [STEP] Private Client Awards.
The STEP Private Client Awards, now in in its 10th year, are held in the highest regard across the private client world, highlighting innovation and excellence among private client lawyers, accountants, bankers, trust managers and financial advisors.
The “Independent Trust Company of the Year” category, featured a strong set of finalists whose entries were vetted via a rigorous, practitioner-led judging process to select the best in the industry.
More than 700 guests gathered for the awards, held on 8 September 2015 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London, UK.
The Presiding Judges commented: “Meritus Trust Company’s submission stood out on several levels; particularly in recognising the existence of high-risk files and the need to approach these differently. The clear, strong and determinedly independent ethos of this organisation shone through, as did its focus on its clients and its staff’s development.”
