Photos: Bermuda’s Students Go Back To School
[Updating] Many of Bermuda’s students returned to school this morning [Sept 8], with the day’s crowds including both established students set to resume their studies follow summer vacation, and some of the little ones setting off for their first day at “big school.”
Both Minister of Education Wayne Scott and Shadow Minister of Education Lovitta Foggo were out this morning to wish the island’s students well, with Minister Scott visiting Prospect Primary, while Ms Foggo visited east end schools, with MP Suzann Roberts Holshouser also out visiting.

The photos below include images of St David’s Primary, St David’s Preschool, Clearwater Middle School, East End Primary, St George’s Preparatory, and Prospect Primary; and if you have photos of children taking part in their first day back at school, please feel free to email them to support@bernews.com and we’ll continue to add to our gallery as the day progresses.

Congrats Ms. Foggo on you new appointment…love the shoes!
One thing I must say about first day of school in Bermuda. The children are dressed to the nines even though they wear uniforms. Everyone looks SHARP!
Seemed like a very great day, especially for the P1s.
so wonderful
