56-Year-Old Man Charged With Touching Girl
In Magistrates Court this morning [Oct 8], a 56-year-old man faced charges that being a person in a position of trust, for sexual reasons, he touched a young girl and intruded on her privacy so as to alarm, insult, or offend her.
All three allegations were alleged to have occurred earlier this month.
After some discussion over whether the charges could be heard in Magistrates Court or had to be handled in the Supreme Court, Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo agreed to an adjournment to 22nd October and set the man’s bail at $10,000 with one surety.
