St George’s Town Hall To Close For Repairs

[Updated] The Corporation of St. George have advised the public that minor work to the floor of the Town Hall will commence on Friday, 9th October 2015.

A spokesperson said, “In the interest of safety the Town Hall will be closed for a period and will re-open on Monday, 26th October 2015.

“The Corporation of St. George apologizes in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused by this improvement project. The public’s patience during this time is greatly appreciated as the Corporation continues to make necessary repairs and improvements to the Town for future enjoyment.”

Update Oct 9, 11.39am: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the planned Town Hall work has been postponed until further notice.

Corporation of St. George Town Manager/Secretary Candy-Lee Foggo said, “The Corporation of St. George would like to inform the public that due to unforeseen circumstances the scheduled work on the Town Hall floor has been postponed until further notice.”
