Netball: 131 Goals Scored In Double Header
A Bermuda Netball Senior League double header took place at the courts at Bernard’s Park with a total of 131 goals scored as the 2015/16 Senior League Season got underway.
The North Village Lady Rams defeated FAM 43 – 34, the North Village Rams got 25 goals from Jah-Tuere Trott, while Nikita Trott chipped in with 13 goals and Xah-Niyah Hunt scored 5 goals. Donnauri Robinson led FAM with 16 goals, while Inshanae Smith scored 15 goals and Amali Smith scored three times.
In the other game Robin Hood defeated Blazzin 30 – 24, Melanie Pascall scored 15 goals to lead Robin Hood to victory, while Talia Lucas added 8 goals and Lattina Simpson scored 7 goals. Blazzin got 18 goals from T’yanna Hayward, Myeisha Saunders scored 4 goals and Akeylah Hendrickson scored three times.
