Photos & Video: Gorham’s “Think Pink” Night

Gorham’s hosted their “Think Pink Ladies Night” last night [Oct 6], inviting ladies to shop with a store-wide savings of 20% with a $10 donation to the Bermuda Cancer & Health on entry; men were also welcome, with a $20 donation on entry.

In addition to the 20% discount, the store offered extra specials on select items, as well as food and drink samples, giveaways, and more, including free pink shopping totes for the first 300 women in attendance.

Staff from Bermuda Cancer and Health were on hand registering people for the BF&M Breast Cancer Awareness Walk scheduled for Wednesday October 21st.

Entertainment at the event was provided by music DJs, while a 32″ LG HDTV – with a retail value of $559.99 – will be given away to one lucky winner, to be announced on October 7.

Some shoppers took advantage of the festive atmosphere and music playing by dancing in the aisle of the store, to the delight of staff and other shoppers who watched with lots of laughter and fun.

Other events are being held on the island to recognize and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including the four-day A.S. Coopers Pink Sale from October 7 – 11, the BF&M Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on October 21, the Gibbons Company Shop & Give on October 29, and the annual Friday Fish Fry at Christ Church in Warwick on October 30.
