PartnerRe 5K Rescheduled For This Sunday
The PartnerRe Women’s 5K — which was postponed due to Hurricane Joaquin — will now take place this coming Sunday, October 11th.
A statement from the race organisers said, “We hope that you and your family were safe during the storm. We are pleased to announce that the PartnerRe Women’s 5k and Girls 2k will take place this Sunday October 11th at the Botanical Gardens. The Girls’ race will kick off at 8.15 am, Runners/Competitive Walkers at 9.00 am and the Non Competitive Run/ Walk at 9.10am.

“You are asked to bring your race number from last week as No New Numbers Can Be Issued. “As we are offering an alternative and the initial postponement was due to a force majeure, no refunds will be offered at this time for this Charity event. The majority of participants have already collected their numbers, goody bags and t-shirts, and we thank you for that.
“Those who have not yet collected their numbers can do so from 8.00-8.30 am on race day. We are unsure if the leftover giveaways are in good condition due to their storage location in the Botanical Gardens, however, we will offer whatever remains in good repair.
“The race has now re-opened online on www.racedayworld.com, for those who have not yet had a chance to sign up. We appreciate your understanding at this time, and look forward to seeing you all Walking/ Running on Sunday. Don’t forget about the fabulous race and raffle prizes!!”
