Bermuda Author Zulie Cranston On Latest Book

Bermudian author, the extremely elusive Zulie Cranston, has chosen to stay out of public lime light, but gave Bernews permission to pry into the creative process of her novel Lust In Paradise – The Sexcapades of Two Bermudian Women, which is available on Amazon, and to shine a little light on her personal life.
When asked about the book, Ms. Cranston said, “This is my first book though I have produced many literary products in the past. This is my first full novel.
“This book is a feel good novel of an erotic nature. It is completely fiction, though many of the storylines are based on real life experiences significantly embellished.
“If you are under 18 or live a conservative lifestyle, this book is definitely not for you. But if you’re open minded and and don’t mind letting your imagination take over, then click on the download link immediately.
“I started writing this book about two years ago but put it down because of lack of motivation. I recently was having a conversation with a spiritual advisor, and although my session had nothing to do with the book it inspired me to sit back down to my PC and I finished it off in like a week.
“When it relates to Lust in Paradise, I can say that I’m influenced by fellow black erotica writers such as Zane and Eric Jerome Dickey.
“I don’t like to reveal my age but I will say I’m in my 30s and I will also say I’m old enough to know and understand how to stimulate adults through literary flirtation.
“I’m more than just an author, I’m an artist. I’m a performer. I’m a lover and I’m a friend.”
“My future plans as it relates to Lust In Paradise, is to become #1 on the Amazon bestseller list in the category of erotica and romance. The way to do this is through reviews. If I can get all of Bermuda to download my book, which is only $2.99, and to write me a quick review it would really help me to climb the rankings in Amazon.
“I mean, even if it’s not me, wouldn’t we all like to see one of our own on a bestsellers list worldwide? Sixty-five thousand reviews – Bermuda’s population – would more than do it.
“But I’m currently working on book two. Anyone who’s read Lust in Paradise tells me the ending was very clever but unexpected and tells me they are fiending to read what happened in book two. Also when doing my advertising in this category of writing, this genre usually comes in a series, so I have to follow suit.
