Chef Campbell To Provide Free Christmas Meals
Bermudian chef Michiko Campbell — owner of Chiko’s Smokey Rub — will once again give back to the community this holiday season by providing free meals to those in need on December 23.
In 2014, Chef Campbell held a similar event on Christmas Eve, feeding 432 people in the process.
The event poster says, “Chef Chiko is a strong believer in giving back to others. Two days before Christmas, Chiko’s Smokey Rub will be providing meals for those in need.”
Mr. Campbell is the owner and creator of the popular “Chiko’s Smokey Rub”, which has sold thousands of bottles since June 2014.

wonder if the same big car owners will line up like they did last year after parking their big cars a few streets away!
What wonderful gesture Chico, you will be blessed for this. Thank you and I’m sure all the people WHO ARE IN NEED will be there.
Very true comment Betty Boop.
Sad thing is as stated above; those not in need will be there just for a free meal and an evening out.
This is absolutely wonderful !!! Well done Mr. Campbell!!!! You are a Great role model to our future young men coming up!!! something and someone positive.
This is really nice. We need more people in Bermuda like this young man.
Noble, generous, focused, considerate and philanthropic. The “Best of Bermuda.” I buy the rub just to support him – I can’t cook:-(
Thank You all for the kinds words.
So many young people in Bermuda are caught up only in themselves and what they can get from in life, they should take a look at Chiko and follow suit.
Will there be tea too?
