Basketball League: FlyBoys & Twisters Win
The Cedarbridge Gymnasium was the scene for the latest round of the Cellone Island Basketball League that produced 182 points in another double header.
Game One of the night saw two 3-2 teams take on each other, with the Flyboys United come out on top 47 – 41 over the Rimrockers.
Kieron Burgess scored 21 to lead the Flyboys to victory, with Nathan Moore also scoring 21 points but in a losing cause for the Rimrockers.
The second game of the night saw the undefeated Twisters go 6-0 on the season by defeating the Crossfire Ballers 61 – 33. Kevin Stephens scored 18 points for the Twisters, while the Crossfire Ballers were led by Jamaal Scott with a game high 23 points.
