Video: Jonte Smith Scores For Gloucester City
Bermuda’s Jonte Smith converted a penalty in 56th minute of today’s [Nov 7] game, which saw Gloucester City come back from 2-0 down to record a 2-2 draw against Tamworth.
Tamworth scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the half-time break. In the 56th minute Gloucester were awarded a penalty, and Smith stepped up to take it, firing the ball home. Gloucester was trailing 2-1, however in the final minutes of the match Joshua Cooke scored to pull them even at 2-2.
After the match, Smith tweeted, “Well done to all the boys for a great comeback from 2-0 down at HT to get a point! The fans were amazing.”
