PLP To Hold Annual Banquet On November 22

The PLP will be hosting their 48th Annual Banquet at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, on Sunday, November 22, with Bishop Vernon Lambe to serve as the Keynote Speaker.

A PLP spokesperson said, “The Progressive Labour Party invites members, supporters, and the general public to attend our 48th Annual Banquet at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, on Sunday, November 22.

“The banquet will feature Keynote Speaker, Bishop Vernon Lambe, as well as presentations and special remarks from members of the PLP family.

“There will be a cocktail reception beginning at 6:00pm and the banquet will get underway at 7:30pm.

“Patron tickets are $250, and general tickets are $125, and both are available at PLP Headquarters, or by calling 292-2264. There is also the opportunity for organizations and companies to purchase corporate tables.

“We invite everyone to come out and support what promises to be a wonderful evening.”

    Do you really think that an elegant shindig as such was intended for the poor joe of the streets…South P. Isn’t a govt. Dept…its a Privatised industry…relying solely on Profit to continue its day to day operations.

    Personally, I think the prices should be higher because if you’re there, I’d say you can afford it…not really a poor Joe are you?

  7. I would go but i have t pay a truck and tipping fee to remove my trash this week….odd that…..trash has been put in those bins a lot here lately…and this reduces trash pick up by half….trucks breaking downvdoesn’t seem right at all….
