Photos/Video/Results: World Rugby Classic

[Updated with photo gallery & video] The World Rugby Classic is underway at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire this afternoon [Nov 8], with teams from Argentina, France, Canada, South Africa, Italy, New Zealand, the UK and USA taking part in the week-long event.

The Classic got underway today with the Argentina vs. France at 2.30pm, which is being followed by the Canada vs. Classic Lions match at 4.00pm.

The event will continue tomorrow [Nov 9], with the gates opening at 5.45pm, the South Africa vs. United States match at 7.15pm, and the Italy vs. New Zealand match at 8.30pm.

The World Rugby Classic Golf Tournament will take place on Tuesday [Nov 10] at the Riddells Bay Golf & Country Club, with the rugby actions set to continue on Wednesday [Nov 11] evening.

The Classic will continue on Thursday [Nov 12], with two matches scheduled in the evening, and the Plate and Classic finals will be taking place on Saturday [Nov 14].

Update 5.18pm: The first game saw Argentina defeat France 14 – 12, and the second game saw the Lions defeat Canada 43 – 7.

    Rugby People around the world would like to follow games. Could HT and FT scores be published contemporaneously with game. Global interest in rugby is high following RWC 2015 – Billed as World Rugby Clasdic it’s reasonable to expect scores at least to be posted to the world media.
