BSoA Announces Video Competition Winners
The Bermuda Society of Arts [BSoA] is has revealed the winners of their recent video competition, with Pete Coleman winning in the ‘student’ category, and NeoApex Productions winning in the ‘adult’ category.
The winning entries will be given the chance to be screened at BIFF 2015 and possibly screened at the Bermuda Docs Weekend Series, with all entries currently being shown in the Studio A until December 8.
Zoe Oleksak was placed as the runner-up in the ‘student’ category, while Alan C. Smith was the runner-up in the ‘adult’ category.
The prizes awarded included $1,500 for adult first prize and $500 for student first prize, along with $750 to the adult runner-up and $250 for the student runner up.
The competition was open to all members of The Bermuda Society of Arts, with sponsorship provided by Argus. A call was made for entries of inspiration, intrigue and imagery at 3-12 minutes in length.
The videos could be of any style or genre, with BSoA specifically encouraging “off the wall, outside the box” entries.
