BTC Launches New Long Distance Calling Plan
BTC today [Dec 2] unveiled the newest addition to their portfolio of services, which they said offers “flexible, low cost international calls.”
“There is no connection fee, no monthly service fee and service covers 93 countries, including the United States, Jamaica and Portugal [including the Azores]. Rates range from 9 cents to 25 cents per minute, and are conveniently grouped into 7 calling zones for simple reference,” the company said.
“This new offer stems from BTC’s continued desire to give customers greater flexibility and greater control over how they use long distance services.
“With no signup fee and no monthly fee for the service, customers make long distance calls on their terms by merely paying for the calls they make at competitively low rates.
Robin Seale, CEO of Digicel & BTC commented, “Our customers have been asking us to provide long distance services and we are now very proud to deliver a solution that rethinks how customers receive those services.
“Bermuda is an internationally connected island, and we look forward to delivering a flexible, affordable way to stay in touch with those around the globe.”
Customers interested in this offer can visit their store, go online or call 295 1001.

Good luck with that BTC. As long as Whatsapp and Ovoo and several other apps are free, BTC will see a marginal profit from their plan.
Unless BTC are charging a LOW flat rate for unlimited long distance that its not a good deal as mentions so may very no to low cost alternatives, Ovoo, Magicjack, vonage, etc. BTC want to win a lot of customers?? Try offering “High speed” internet for less than the high prices paid for the current batch of garbage internet speeds offered!
Seem to me we “Can’t Count On BTC” . And who came up with this brain storm anyway? Not going to work for me.
