Hewey & Reid-Anderson Guilty, Worrell Acquitted

December 7, 2015

Following a trial in the Supreme Court, Devon Hewey and Dujon Reid-Anderson were both found guilty of charges involving perjury and matters relating to corrupting a witness in a trial.

The Court heard this occurred during a trial last year for a shooting in which Mr. Hewey and Cervio Cox were the defendants, with the actions of the two defendants of this trial occurring between July and October 2014.

Hewey and Reid-Anderson will return to Court for sentencing on these charges.

Lawyer Kamal Worrell, who had also been accused and had maintained his innocence, had previously been found not guilty and was acquitted after the jury had been directed by Justice Charles-Etta Simmons.
