Photos: Bermuda HealthCare Turkey Giveaway
Bermuda HealthCare Services [BHCS] celebrated the spirit of the Christmas season on Saturday [Dec 19] by giving away 150 turkeys, with the first 100 turkeys given to patients who won the office draw, and the remaining 50 going on a first come, first serve basis to the general public.
The idea for the giveaway began three years ago, when BHCS and Brown-Darrell Clinic cancelled their annual Christmas Party and decided to distribute turkeys to those in need, giving away hundreds of free turkeys across the island since that time.

Founder and Executive Chairman Dr. Ewart Brown said, “This is an annual honour for our team at Bermuda HealthCare Services. We are pleased to show our support to the our community; particularly in such difficult economic times.”
