Photos: Chef Campbell Gives Away Free Meals
Chef Michiko Campbell and a slew of volunteers are hard at work serving free Christmas meals this evening [Dec 23], with crowds of people enjoying their generosity at Albuoy’s Point. The event is just getting underway, and Chef Campbell has planned enough food to feed about 600 people, with all dishes prepared at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, where he is employed.
In 2014, Chef Campbell held a similar event on Christmas Eve, feeding 432 people in the process. The young Bermudian chef is the owner and creator of the popular “Chiko’s Smokey Rub”, which has sold thousands of bottles since June 2014.

Well done young man…but at what stage do we start giving out fruits and vegetables (need some healthy snacks) instead of cakes and doughnuts, etc. Keep it going looking foward to seeing you again next year! Great success!
U know something? When you start donating those things. Maybe the will be healthier. This may be the only real meal they have over the holidays. People can’t go one day without being total happy for a cause without some snide remark.
Spectator… Do you know how much Fruit and Veggies cost ?, I am sure you do… damn can someone not do anything without hearing complaints…
Then why don’t you do it yourself instead of complaining about someone doing a good deed? If you’re hungry you will take what you get. Why can’t you see the positives in this gesture? People like you truly make me sick.
