Two Men Injured: Industrial Accident In St David’s
At approximately 7:35am this morning [Dec 3] the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of an industrial accident at 16 Waller’s Point Road in St. David’s, and the BFRS have confirmed that two males were injured by a concrete slab falling.
Fire Service spokesperson Sergeant Russann Francis said, “It was reported that two males were injured by the falling of a 6’ x 8’ concrete slab.
“The Fire Service responded to the incident with one vehicle and four emergency medical technicians, who quickly assessed the patients who were found to have lower extremity injuries.”
“The injured persons were transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further treatment.”
