Video: Jennifer Haworth On End-To-End
Jennifer Haworth, a Convex End-to-End board member, reflected on the event held on Saturday [May 2].
The annual event included a 24.1-mile End-to-End route, the 14-mile Middle-to-End, and the three-mile Fun Walk and Cycle.
“We’re having a terrific day with some beautiful weather that Bermuda has rolled out for us,” Ms Haworth told Bernews.
“Record crowds have registered this year and turned out for this event.
“Something like 3,900 people had registered this morning, and it’s still growing as of this morning.”
Participants ranged from walkers and cyclists to rowers and divers.
“We have people crossing the island from St George’s, walking or cycling,” she added.
“We’ve had teenage gig rowers and the Bermuda Sub Aqua Club traversing from Spanish Point Boat Club to Dockyard.
“We’ve had people from all walks of life coming out to support our wonderful charities.
“We really appreciate everyone who has come out to support us.”
