Sand Sculpture Competition To Be Held In Sept.
The 21st annual Bermuda Sand Sculpture Competition will take place at Horseshoe Bay on Saturday 3rd September 2016, with the event to offer an open category, as well as categories for children, teenagers, and families.
The building time is from 10.00am to 4.00pm with winners announced at 5.00pm. Entry is free and lot sizes are 10′ x10′. Teams must have no more than 6 people and sand must predominate the design. There will be workshops featuring tips and techniques on building a sand sculpture prior to the event.
Nicky Gurret, the founder of the event, is looking to have more than sixty entries at this year’s event.
